Operations Assistant Coordinator

Position Summary:
The Operations Assistant Coordinator works with both the Operations Coordinator and the Site Coordinator supporting mineral exploration and camp activities at our remote Palmer Campsite near Haines, Alaska. This is a full-time, seasonal position for the 2026 exploration season, approximately June to October.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with recording, updating, and filing environmental and safety paperwork.
- Assist with environmental and geotechnical data entry.
- Assist with camp logistics and flight following.
- Assist with supply ordering.
- Assist with camp housekeeping and/or maintenance as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Strong organizational skills and people skills.
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude and good attention to detail.
- Ability to repetitively lift and carry 35–50 pounds.
- A proactive, safety-driven mindset. Follow company safety and environmental standards.
- Possess a valid driver’s license.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with team members and contractors.
- Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labor as required.
- Proactive and collaborative attitude, committed to working in a team environment based on respect, trust and accountability in pursuing shared goals.
- Valid driver license with clean driving record.
- All employees must pass a background check and drug test.
- Valid standard first aid certification a plus.
Schedule:
Work hours generally begin at 7:00 AM. Schedule and rotations to be discussed.
Pay Rate:
We offer a competitive salary structure dependent upon experience and qualifications.
Location:
Palmer Project Camp near Haines, Alaska. Preference will be given to qualified local candidates.
